Arbreshe AbdiuArbreshë Abdiu is currently a senior at University of Prishtina “Hasan Prishtina”. Her bachelor degree is in pure mathematics but she is more interested in applied mathematics such as probability theory, data analysis and statistics. She is determined to become the coolest mathematician the world has ever seen, among many other things that she believes she is, always making a conscious effort to let people know that she does not fit the stereotypes.

 

 

 

Petrit Avdylaj

 

 

Vjosa BlakajVjosa Blakaj is currently a master student at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). She finished her bachelor studies at the University of Prishtina in pure mathematics. Her fields of interest include functional analysis, probability theory and statistical learning. She also likes mathematical models in Biology, and yet she is trying to touch different parts of applied mathematics!

 

 

 

 

Begatim Bytyqi

 

 

Hamdi DërvodeliHamdi Dërvodeli finished his bachelor studies in Mathematics at University of Prishtina. Currently he is a student in the Graduate School of Science at Kyoto University in Japan. His main interests lie within the field of Algebraic Geometry.

 

 

 

 

 

Fatime Gjinolli

 

 

Etrit Haxholli is currently enrolled in the third year at the University of Prishtina. His main interests lie within the field of Statistics, with emphasis on Data Science and Biostatistics. He began participating in the Labex-Milyon Animath program in the second year of his studies, and the program really helped him broaden his horizon in the field of mathematics.

 

 

 

Vera JerliuVera Jerliu finished high school in her birthplace, Kamenicë. She was selected among 55 students all across Kosovo in the ENCOMPASS Centre, ATOMI Project–Identification and support of gifted youth in Kosovo. She is currently studying mathematics at the University of Prishtina, third year (sixth semester) ongoing in 2017. She has participated in the Labex-Milyon Animath program since she started her second year of studies.

 

 

 

Arben Krasniqi finished his bachelor studies in July 2016 at the University of Prishtina. Now, he is pursuing master studies at the University of Prishtina. He is mainly interesed in Topology.

 

 

 

 

 

Alban KryeziuAlban Kryeziu is a student in mathematics at the University of Prishtina, mostly interested in algebra and number theory. He is excpected to graduate in July 2017. He was awarded the University scholarship during his first year of studies (2013). He also received the Best high school student award in 2013, the 2nd award at the Kosovar mathematical olympiad (KMO) in 2013 and the 4th award at the KMO 2012. He participated in the International Mathematical Olympiad-IMO in 2013 and he assisted with grading the exam papers of the KMO in 2015. More recently, he attended the French-Kosovar schools in December 2015, April 2016 and December 2016.

 

 

Kaltrina MalokuKaltrina Maloku is currently enrolled in the third year at the University of Prishtina. Her participation in Animath-Prishtina not only helped her broaden her knowledge in mathematics, but also gave her the opportunity to continue her studies at the Lyon 1 University.

 

 

 

 

Fjollë Morina finished her Computer Science bachelor studies at the University of Prishtina. She is currently working as a programming trainer in JCoders academy—a programming school for children. Fjollë is a member of the “Mensa International”, program for identifying people with high IQ. She is mostly interested in applied and computational mathematics, including writing programs, developing algorithms and so on.

 

 

 

 

Dren Muqaj

 

 

Arber Selimi is currently a first year master student in mathematics at the University of Bonn. He has graduated from the University of Prishtina, also in Mathematics. His interests are in the field of Topology, where he is mostly interested in the study of vector bundles. He also enjoys learning Set Theory and Analysis.
